The torquiest Ranger ever released, churning out an earth spinning 697Nm; courtesy of the 2.3-litre turbocharged EcoBoost engine, mated with an electric motor. This makes the Ranger PHEV the most efficient Ranger ever, with a combined fuel economy rating of just 2.8l/100km, and 43km’s of pure electric range.

Drive Modes

The e-motor allows Ranger PHEV to deliver electric driving capability for the first time ever on a Ranger. The driver can choose when and how to use battery power using Auto EV, EV Now, EV Later or EV Charge modes.

• Auto EV: keeps Ranger PHEV in the best mode for performance and efficiency
• EV Now: Runs purely on electric power
• EV Later: keeps a portion of charge in reserve so that it can be deployed later
• EV Charge: prioritises recharging the battery while driving
